Breathwork.
The breath is our source of life. It’s how we welcome source energy into our bodies. It’s vital.
Healing breathwork is an up-regulated style of meditative breath that promotes self-healing.
These guided 1-hour sessions are a portal to attunement with yourself and the universe.
I was drawn to breathwork out of curiosity; however, it has provided me with deep healing and has re-awakened me.

New Moon and Full Moon Mini Retreats.
Join me, in-person, every second Friday from 6:30 pm to 9 pm for an evening of deep healing and connection.
Each mini retreat features reflective journaling, an opening circle, light yoga, a guided healing breathwork session, a card reading, crystal and closing circle.
Investment is $40, payable by etransfer.
-
Each mini retreat features 4-6 guided reflection prompts tailored to suit the astrology of the season.
-
The opening circle features opportunities to contribute to the group words, stories, items or simply by listening. It sets the stage for the evening and provides a safe container for healing and community.
-
This is the time to unblock and release stuck energy an emotions.
Lying on a yoga mat, you are invited to breathe deeply following a specific breath pattern to invite deep healing and connection.
As you breathe, you will be offered healing touch, sound healing and essential oils to support your journey.
-
As the breathwork session comes to a close, Jacquie will pull an oracle or tarot card for you.
-
Jacquie has always been drawn to rocks: smooth ones, colourful ones … you name it!
Crystals are selected based on the astrology of the season and each mini retreat participant receives a small crystal as an offering of gratitude and a reminder of healing and connection.
-
Finally, the evening ends in circle, offering participants the space to share about their experience, learn about their card readings and crystals and to re-acclimate after the breathwork session.

As participants arrive, Jacquie will introduce herself and check in to ensure all participants can hear and have her image pinned.
After a sound check, Jacquie will encourage participants to lie on their backs on a yoga mat (or similar) or bed.
The breath pattern will be introduced/reviewed and then the practice will begin, set to a custom playlist curated by Jacquie.
The active breath portion lasts approximately 25 minutes and Jacquie will provide some verbal cues throughout to help guide and support the practice.
The resting period lasts approximately 10 minutes and this is where the breath pattern is released.
Following the breathwork practice, Jacquie will check in with participants and wrap up, often offering the opportunity to request a card reading (tarot or oracle).

Is there anyone that should avoid this style of breathwork?
Folks with epilepsy or other seizure disorders
Those with heart conditions that have been advised to limit activity
Pregnant women, unless cleared by their care provider (a different lying position may also be required)
What are the benefits?
Healing breathwork is an up-regulated meditative practice that provides a unique opportunity to clear blocked emotions, sensations and energy.
It can be very helpful in trauma healing as it empowers the individual, encourages body sovereignty and invites self-compassion.
Participants often speak of feeling a greater connection to source energy, the world around them, and to themselves both during and after a session.
What will I feel?
It is common to feel tingling sensations as well as a heaviness or lightness in different parts of the body during the practice.
Some folks feel a tightening or contorting of the hands. This is temporary and usually dissipates during the rest period. If it is distressing to experience this, you can wiggle or shake your hands to reduce the sensation.
Tension around the lips and other parts of the body can also occur at times. Again, it is temporary and is not harmful.
